Medical, Dental & Veterinary Practices
Bookkeeping for Medical, Dental & Veterinary Practices
A successful practice requires attention not only to patient or client care, but also to payroll, supplies, equipment, deposits, vendors, financing, and operating expenses. Allied Alacrity provides business-side bookkeeping support designed to help practices maintain clear and organized financial records.
-
Practices may manage patient or client payments, merchant deposits, payroll, clinical supplies, equipment purchases, financing, lab costs, vendor expenses, medication purchases, recurring operating costs, multiple financial accounts, and owner distributions.
Veterinary practices may also manage pharmacy or medication purchases, pet-food or retail-product sales, wellness-plan activity, and diagnostic-lab expenses.
-
Depending on the engagement, Allied Alacrity may assist with bank and credit-card reconciliations, deposit and payment reconciliation, payroll-related accounting entries, vendor and supply expense organization, equipment and loan activity, owner equity or distribution bookkeeping, and monthly financial statement preparation.
Allied Alacrity provides business-side bookkeeping and accounting support. Clinical billing, medical coding, insurance adjudication, clinical compliance, and other regulated healthcare activities are outside the scope of standard bookkeeping services.
-
Monthly bookkeeping may include reviewed transactions, reconciled financial accounts, reviewed deposit and expense activity, month-end bookkeeping, Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and organized records prepared for business and tax purposes.
Practice-specific monthly review may also include payroll activity, vendor expenses, supply costs, equipment activity, and other agreed financial accounts.
-
Consistent bookkeeping provides practice owners with more current financial information about revenue, payroll, supplies, equipment, and operating costs. Maintaining organized records throughout the year can support clearer financial decision-making while reducing the need for extensive year-end bookkeeping cleanup.
-
Pricing may depend on transaction volume, number of financial accounts, payroll activity, merchant systems, equipment and financing, vendor volume, number of locations, reporting requirements, and the condition of the current books.
More complex practices with multiple accounts, locations, systems, or significant monthly transaction activity may require a broader engagement.
-
Historical cleanup, payroll processing, A/P administration, A/R administration, detailed management reporting, tax preparation, cash-flow forecasting, additional locations, and other services beyond ordinary monthly bookkeeping may require separate pricing.
Any additional services will be agreed upon before work begins.
