Nonprofits & Churches
Bookkeeping for Nonprofits & Churches
Nonprofits and churches have financial responsibilities that extend beyond ordinary business operations. Leadership, boards, donors, grantors, members, and other stakeholders may depend on organized records to understand how resources are received and used.
Allied Alacrity provides bookkeeping and accounting support designed to promote financial organization, transparency, and responsible stewardship.
-
Organizations may manage donations and contributions, program revenue, grants, payroll, vendor expenses, ministry or program costs, multiple bank accounts, restricted and unrestricted activity, board reporting, and year-end financial records.
-
Services may include donation and contribution bookkeeping, bank and credit-card reconciliation, program expense categorization, payroll-related entries, grant-related bookkeeping within the agreed scope, restricted and unrestricted fund tracking where appropriate, monthly financial statements, and board-ready financial reporting.
Allied Alacrity provides bookkeeping, accounting, tax, and business-support services within its professional scope. Audit, review, assurance, attestation, and other services requiring an appropriately licensed CPA are not included in standard bookkeeping engagements.
-
Depending on the engagement, monthly services may include reviewed and categorized transactions, reconciled financial accounts, reviewed contribution and program activity, Profit & Loss or Statement of Activity reporting, Balance Sheet reporting, and organized records for leadership, tax, and year-end use.
-
Consistent bookkeeping can provide leadership with clearer information about contributions, program activity, expenses, available resources, and organizational financial trends. Organized financial records also support stronger internal stewardship and more informed board or management discussions.
-
Pricing may depend on transaction volume, number of financial accounts, programs or ministries, payroll activity, contribution systems, restricted-fund activity, grants, reporting requirements, number of locations, and the condition of the existing books.
-
Historical cleanup, detailed grant reporting, advanced fund accounting, payroll processing, A/P administration, tax-return preparation, specialized board reporting, additional locations, and other services beyond the recurring bookkeeping scope may be separately quoted.
Audit, assurance, attestation, and other CPA-restricted services are not offered as part of Allied Alacrity’s standard accounting engagements.
